Whats top2bottom?

Welcome to our blog! We are three guys from Yorkshire and this site is going to document our cycle ride from the top to the bottom of the UK, John O'Groats to Land's End.

John O'Groats is the most North Easterly point of Scotland, and Land's End is the most South Westerly point of England.

Jonny Woolsey, John Green & Andrew Martin will be pushing down on the pedals and starting the wheels rolling on the 26th July.

John waits for his train!





So it's all about to start in approximately 30 mins! And I must say this is the most nervous I have felt! It's not about the ride it's about getting the train! The ticket lady says there is no room to book my bike on! This could all go wrong at the first hurdle!

The 5 minute cycle to the station is also the first cycle I have ever done with the panniers fully loaded! They seem a bit wobbly. Let's hope they can hack it!

I'm already feeling tired after a B I G night last night at my good friend Simons wedding! A night of real ale is probably not the best way to prep for a ride like this! Still a good time was had!
